IMG_2812[1]To say the room was electric would be both trite, and a cliche, but are not cliches just the verbal shortcut human beings use to express a feeling all of us can relate to?

I’m doing it.

The room was electric. The crowd of hipsters pumped up with un-characteric reckless abandon of how cool they looked. Money Grabber was playing and the crowd was jumping up and down with their hearts in the air.

The Fitz and the Tantrums brought the house down at Lupos Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, and Tuesday nights felt like they’d will never be the same again.
The set list was crafted perfectly and the encore performance was even better.

For those of you unfamiliar with the electro-pop band with class R&B vibe, I would best describe them as Ike and Tina (minus the drugs and physical and sexual abuse,) meets Bon Jovi. Stir, mix, update for generation X, and you have a sound that makes you want to both reminisce and shake your butt or anything else.

Capital Cities was amazing in their own right! Safe and Sound, NOT the only hit for this crew and their latest album, In a Tidal Wave of Mystery.

And check out the music video for Kangaroo Court.
